Established in 2017 on a 172m2 site, the initial idea was to create an office, a hangout spot, and a coffee shop. However, along the way, deciding to surrender to nature and embrace it by transforming the space into a villa.
The property is dotted with big trees, inspiring us to design a compound that harmonizes with the natural surroundings. Utilizing reclaimed wood from ships (Kayu Ulin) for the construction, enhancing the connection to the environment while giving the hostel a warm, rustic feel.
